大堀相馬焼は福島県相馬地方で300年以上の歴史を持つ陶器です。走り駒(馬の絵付け)、二重構造による断熱効果、青緑の青磁貫入釉という三つの特徴で知られます。2011年の東日本大震災と原発事故により産地からの避難を余儀なくされましたが、陶工たちは移転先でこの愛される伝統を守り続けています。
